On 21 October 2021, Osaka University has participated in the Information Session “Study in Japan” for Finnish University Students, hosted by the Hokkaido University Europe Office in Helsinki.
This session was targeted for students in Finland interested in studying in Japan. Began with opening remarks by Mr. Okabe, the Vice Director of Hokkaido University Europe Office in Helsinki, and presentation about scholarship and visa by a staff of Embassy of Japan in Finland, the Osaka University European Center for Academic Initiatives, Kyoto University European Center in Heidelberg, Nagoya University European Center in Freiburg, and Hokkaido University Europe Office in Helsinki gave overview of each university.
After the presentations, Q&A sessions with each university were held in Zoom breakout rooms. We had 71 participants from University of Helsinki, Aalto University, and Tampere University, etc., engaged in lively online conversations.
